Prof. Lorand Fenyves, who was kind enough to undertake the editing of these duets, also drew attention to several didactical aspects which might interest the violin teacher. In duet no. 1 - change of lower position on higher string to higher position on lower string and stretch to ninth; In deut no. 2 - position change with contraction and same note with different fingers; In duet no. 4 - smooth, expressive bowing, evenly divided and evenly .droning.
