Empty Box, Empty Voice for harp was written in 1982. In this work, which combines strict notation with free proportional one, the composer attempts to develop the harmonic-melodic language by using intervals (both harmonic and melodic) which constitute the micro form and the general structure of the work. This approach stems from the composer's own analytical and compositional method.
